Our unique value proposition is the symbiosis between Passion and Mandate.
At Pure Purple our core pillars are Community, Craftsmanship & Sustainability which mirrors our vision and dedication to and for The People, The Natural Resources of our land and The Earth.
Our Mission is to showcase Africa’s craftsmanship in excellence.
Our 5 to 10 Year vision statement is to utilize upwards of 1 M square foot of locally sourced leather. It is to serve 100,000 consumers and create 200 jobs.
We do that through premium value addition on locally sourced leather by manufacturing footwear and accessories.
It is in what we produce, how we produce, where we produce and in who stands behind the actual production process in skills and expertise from end to end.
In a nutshell we are going an extra mile to use the lands natural resources, to leverage its people and invest in its supply chain whilst considering the earth and aiming for world standard quality craftsmanship.
We are proudly made in Kenya by Kenyans on fair wages.
Sustainability for us is not just in the choice of input materials. It is in the design process. We select what’s durable and design for versatility, in function ability, whilst employing a heavy culture of : recycle, up-cycle, waste management , a selection of what’s ecological and bio-degradable in how we produce and function. This is built into the heart of the brand.
Aside from how we treat our workers we invest directly into the community with several often unpublished community activations. One of our key projects is that we invest upwards of 5% of our proceeds to make school shoes for a rehabilitation center for street boys in as long as the boys stop living off the streets and stop drugs and agree to go back to school.
